The mission of the Autism Treatment Center is to assist people with autism and related disorders throughout their lives as they learn, play, work and live in the community. We were established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in Dallas in 1976 and opened our first programs in San Antonio in 1978.
Today, ATC San Antonio offers:
Education - Our TEA-accredited nonpublic school offers year-round individualized education for students with autism ages 3-21 using small student-to-teacher ratios and Applied Behavior Analysis.
Adult Services - Meaningful Living, Meaningful Work is a weekday program for adults with autism (ages18+) that focuses on developing independent living and social skills through vocational training, volunteer activities and community outings.
Residential Program - ATC's 7 community-based group homes are located in neighborhoods in northeast San Antonio. Residential staff provide 24/7 supervision, teach daily living skills and promote independence for children (age 3+) and adults with autism.
Individualized Therapy - ATC's outpatient therapy clinic offers autism-specific treatment for children (age 18 months+)
